About Equis Menswear

Equis Menswear Ltd is a newly established company, which began trading in 2010. The website has been designed to bring alternative, individual products to the discerning shopper who is looking for a quality product, something a little different, something not easily found on the High Street by way of a simple, quick, highly visual and easy to use website. This has been done by using fixed search menus, images which can be enlarged by simply hovering the cursor over them (no opening or closing of pages), continual scroll down pages rather than having to click from one page to another as well as a slide-show function, which comes into use when viewing the individual product pages.

To enable easier, faster searching you can either search by product i.e. cufflinks or silk ties and you will then be taken to the category page i.e. cufflinks related to themes such as sport, equestrian, music etc. Alternatively you can search by category i.e. music or art and this will display all products related to these themes be they silk ties, braces, cufflinks etc. We have also included a complete Product Index where every item is listed (alphabetically) and you can click straight through to the page.

The website has been designed so that if you are interested in a particular subject, say golf, you will have a wide assortment of products to choose from.

You will find the majority of items advertised on the website are what we call stock items i.e. we make every effort to keep them in stock, however a number of items have extended lead-times, which are detailed on the product page - please bear this in mind when ordering or contact us for clarification.

You can pay by either credit/debit card or by cheque. If there is a problem with your order then we will contact you. Products can be shipped by a guaranteed next day delivery required providing provisions are made first - you will need to phone us first.

We do a lot of volunteer work for British Eventing and local Pony Clubs and sponsor an eventer - Sara Raw. We will be advertising at cross-country events and hopefully becoming involved in sponsoring events next year.

CUFFLINKS & GOLD PLATING

Some of the cufflinks advertised are gold plated using 24ct gold with the inclusion of an additional element that provides a better wear resistance, hence the plating is advertised as 23ct.

Products may vary from the images shown on this website due to continuous product design changes and improvements made by manufacturers. Some of the cufflinks vary slightly from batch to batch so please bear this in mind when ordering.

The finish of the gold plating is very much dependant upon the surface of the article i.e. if the base metal is a matt finish then the gold plating will reflect this.

SILK TIES

When undoing a silk tie it is always a good idea to hold the knot and undo the knot with both hands otherwise pulling the knot undone with one hand can cause damage to the stitching.

We are proud volunteers of BEDE and BE events taking part at such venues as Lincoln Horse Trials, Belton, Houghton, Cholmondeley Castle, Blenheim, Buckminster and Osberton.
